What is it ac- tually about? “The triptych is composed of three songs - Nobl, In corpore sa- no and Mekano – that are linked through one music video. There is a certain similarity between these
songs, not only in terms of their arrangements, but also in terms of articulation, in the way the story is told within the scope of the themes, so it was logical for me to release them as a three-part video. The vid- eo was created in cooperation with Maja Uzelac and Ana Rodić, and it quickly reached a million views de- spite its 12-minute duration, and we know that today’s viewers have a short attention span. That seems like a solid success to me.” Do you like Meghan Mar- kle’s hairstyle? [wink] “It seems nice in the photos.” Why Konstrakta? It’s diffi- cult to remember ... “I gave that name to myself when I was 20. I studied architec- ture and had just started dealing with music. It seemed to me at the time that that name described me and my way of working well, it just didn’t cross my mind how complicated that would be and how many times that name would be misspelt. It’s already become en- tertaining now, so I make notes of all the ideas, from Komprosta, via Kantata to Katarakta…” Could you ever have seen yourself performing at the Eurovision Song Contest; do you even like the music generally offered by that contest? “Never in my life did the possi- bility of this development of events

We didn’t expect that we’d reach this many people, not only in Serbia, but also in the countries of the former Yugoslavia. But they say that we have a good standing. When it comes to me and my team, we’re going one step at a time. The first goal is to reach the final, and if we succeed in that, then we can imagine Eu- rovision in Belgrade.” Do you have a favourite Eu- rovision song or performer? “I don’t have a favourite. I like, for example, Azúcar Moreno, White and Black Blues, Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son, last year’s Iceland- ers, Mahmood, Sébastien Tellier – Divine, Bebi Dol - Brazil, Molitva, Čaroban, of our songs… There are many that I love.” You’ll be travelling to this month’s Eurovision Song Contest with Air Serbia. How do you prefer to spend your time aboard our flights? “I most like looking at clouds.”
