MONOGRAPH Dr Gordana Blagojević’s research in- to Slovak naïve art resulted in the monograph “Slovak Naïve Art in Ser- bia. An Ethno-Anthropological Study of Identity Practises”, which won her the Medal for Creativity by the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2015, for “contributing to the promo- tion of multi-ethnic creativity in so- ciety”. This monograph represents the most comprehensive and expert work, featuring all 63 painters includ- ed on the representative list of Slo- vak naïve art in Serbia. What these painters have in common is that they were all born in Kovačica, Vojvodina, Serbia, and that their mother tongue is Slovakian. The oldest painter on the list, Vladimir Boboš, was born in 1906, while the youngest, Sanja St- vorec, came into the world in 1992.

U Kovačici je tradicija da se oslikavaju predmeti koji su nekada korišćeni, to je veza sa prethodnim generacijama One Kovačica tradition is to decorate items that used to be used, which represents a link to previous generations
