Take a peek inside the Jordan Archaeological Museum to learn more about these fascinating attractions. The Roman Theatre This antique attraction merges perfectly with Jordan’s historical heritage and the city’s vibrant modern-day life. Located a 20-minute walk from the Amman Citadel, the restored Roman Thea- tre serves to deepen tourists’ understanding of what Amman may have been like nearly 2,000 years ago. This masterpiece of architecture fea- tures a set of steep, curving spectator terraces that can seat up to 6,000 people. Rainbow Street This famous street in the historical district of Amman offers a relaxing space to explore part of the capital on foot. Boost your energy with a cup of tea at one of the lovely cafés that line Ra- inbow Street, then find some souvenirs to take home. Falafels There are tons of local restaurants that churn out piles of these famous chickpea fritters, and you can easily eat your way through the city on a quest to find your favourite falafel joint.
