I ako je prošlo 42 godine od njegovog prvog filma, Pedro Almodovar je i dalje neko na či- ji novi film možete računati svake dve-tri go- dine, a da pritom ne morate da strahujete za kvalitet. Poznat je po svojim feminističkim fil- movima, progresivnim idejama i snažnim ženskim likovima, naročito onima koji su pisani za njegovu muzu Penelope Kruz, sa kojom mu je ovo čak sed- mi film. Petnaest godina pošto je prvi put nomino- vana za Oskara, takođe za Almodovarov film Vrati se , Kruzova je ove godine u trci za prestižnu nagra- du zajedno sa svojim mužem, oskarovcem Havijerom Bardemom, koji je za film Rikardovi nominovan za glavnu mušku ulogu. Još jedna stvar koja je vrlo karakteristična za Al- modovara jeste njegov odnos prema rodnoj Špani- ji, njenim ljudima i njenoj istoriji, koje je gledaoci- ma najčešće predstavljao kroz Madrid i Barselonu. I Paralelne majke su snimane u Madridu i okolini, a svako ko voli Almodovarove filmove još jednom je mogao da uživa otkrivajući ruralne i urbane predele španske prestonice. Međutim, ako se vratimo kroz vreme, svi Almodovarovi filmovi obiluju posebnim i vrlo prepoznatljivim lokacijama u Madridu.
D espite 42 years having passed since his first film, you can still count on Pedro Alm- odovar making a new film every two to three years, and you can be sure that you won’t have to worry about the quality. He is known for his feminist films, progressive ideas and strong leading ladies, especially when it comes to those that he writes for his muse - Penelope Cruz, with whom this latest film is his seventh. Fifteen years after she was first nominated for an Oscar, also for an Almodo- var film – Volver, Cruz is this year in the running for a prestigious award together with her husband, Oscar win- ner Javier Bardem, who has been nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his leading role in Being the Ricardos. Another very strong characteristic of Almodovar is his relationship towards his native Spain, its people and history, which he usually presents to audiences through the examples of Madrid and Barcelona. His latest work, Parallel Mothers, was also shot in and around Madrid, and it enables all fans of Almodovar's films to once again enjoy discovering the Spanish capital’s rural and urban landscapes. However, we can journey back through time to see that all of Almodovar's films are packed with spe- cial and very recognisable Madrid locations.

Bioskop Dore (PRIČAJ SA NJOM, 2002) Bioskop Dore je, između ostalog, i deo kulturne bašti- ne Španije, dom španske ki- noteke i jedan od najpose- ćenijih bioskopa u Evropi. U svojoj kolekciji čuva 36.000 naslova, od kojih 21.000 pri- pada španskom filmu. U Pri - čaj s njom protagonista Be- ninjo odlazi u ovaj bioskop jer Alisija, žena o kojoj brine dok je u komi, voli nemi film, a Dore je mesto na kojem će- te naći klasične filmove iz ce- log sveta.
CINE DORÉ (TALK TO HER, 2002)
The Doré cinema is, among other things, part of the cultural heritage of Spain, the home to the Span- ish Cinematheque and one of Eu- rope’s most popular cinemas. Its collection includes 36,000 works, 21,000 of which are works of Span- ish cinematography. In the film Talk to Her, the central character, Be- nigno, goes to this cinema because Alicia, the woman he nurses while she’s in a coma, loves silent film, and the Cine Doré is a place where you’ll find classic films from around the world.
