SALZBURG As of 7 th June, Air Serbia passengers can now fly directly between Belgrade and the Austrian city of Salzburg. The Ser- bian national airline will fly to its second destination in this popular Alpine coun- try, after Vienna, three times a week throughout the summer season and twice a week during the winter season. The first flight was greeted with a tradi- tional water cannon salute at Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport, which is locat- ed just three kilometres southwest of Salzburg city centre and is the second largest airport in Austria. The official cer- emony held to mark the occasion was attended by representatives of Air Ser- bia, the Consulate General of the Re- public of Serbia in Salzburg and Salz- burg Airport. Srpska nacionalna avio-kom- panija će letove između Beograda i svoje četvrte destinacije u Španiji, uz Barselonu, Madrid i Valensiju, obavlja- ti do 29. oktobra, dva puta nedeljno. Inauguracioni let je srdačno dočekan na međunarodnom aerodromu Palma de Majorka , trećem po veličini u Špa- niji, smeštenom na osam kilometara od glavnog grada ostrva. Svečanoj ce- remoniji prisustvovali su predstavnici avio-kompanije Er Srbija i aerodroma. PALMA DE MALLORCA Air Serbia commenced flights along its new seasonal route between Belgrade and Spain’s Palma de Mallorca on 11 th June, deploying an Airbus A319 for this route. The Serbian national airline will operate flights twice a week between Belgrade and its fourth destination in Spain – after Barcelona, Madrid and Va- lencia – until 29 th October. The inaugural flight received a warm welcome to Pal- ma de Mallorca Airport, which is Spain’s third largest airport and is located eight kilometres from the capital. The official ceremony was attended by representa- tives of Air Serbia and the airport.
