Dragi putnici,
Jul je po mišljenju mnogih sa razlo- gom najlepši letnji mesec. To je najtopliji mesec severne hemisfere, koji je naziv dobio u čast slavnog rimskog vođe Gaja Julija Cezara. Kako svaki mesec ima svoju boju, boja 7. meseca je koralnoružičasta i u julu sa punim pravom možemo da stavimo ružičaste nao- čare i takav pogled usmerimo na putovanja. Ipak, pre nego što se prepustimo svim čarima ju- la, želimo da vas podsetimo da smo u junu obeležili godišnjicu poslovanja raznim prigodnim aktivnosti- ma. Pod sloganom 95 godina letenja , dizajnirali smo poseban amblem koji spaja tradiciju i savremeni tre- nutak, odajući počast bogatoj istoriji srpske nacional- ne avio-kompanije. Amblem ćete imati priliku da vidi- te na trupu 12 aviona tipa erbas i pet aviona tipa ATR iz naše flote. Otvorena je i izložba Godina velikih ju- bileja srpskog vazduhoplovstva: 95 godina nacional- ne avio-kompanije i 60 godina beogradskog aerodro- ma , koja će svim putnicima biti dostupna od 1. jula na Aerodromu Nikola Tesla Beograd , a istim povodom, u saradnji sa Poštom Srbije, kreirali smo specijalne poštanske marke. Dok čekate svoj let, pogledajte izložbu fotografija koje dokumentuju sve značajne periode razvoja naci- onalne avio-kompanije, od Aeroputa preko Jugoslo- venskog aerotransporta (JAT) i Jat ervejza do Er Sr- bije , kao i beogradskog aerodroma. Sigurni smo da će među vama biti i onih koji će pod utiskom nekih fotografija evocirati svoje uspomene sa prethodnih putovanja jer su sećanja tu, samo ih morate probudi- ti. Možda je baš ova izložba odlična prilika da neka od njih i ponovite zajedno sa nama. Uspostavili smo osam novih linija iz Beograda, i to do Trsta, Liona, Hanovera, Barija, Bolonje, Nirn- berga, Salcburga i Palma de Majorke. Uspostavili smo i sezonske linije Kraljevo–Solun i Kraljevo–Tivat, kao i između Niša i Tivta i Niša i Atine. Ovog leta omogu- ćili smo vam veliki izbor jer planiramo da letimo na više od 70 redovnih i čarter destinacija. Sezona godišnjih odmora se polako zahuktava, a mi želimo da vam pomognemo da pronađete inspira- ciju za idealan odmor. U ovom broju vas vodimo u Ba- ri i Trst, do kojih možete stići našim direktnim letom. Za one koji planiraju da provedu leto u Srbiji prepo- ručujemo neka od najlepših jezera kao što su Zlatar- sko, Perućac i Zaovinsko jezero. Iskoristite priliku da vratite u modu dobru staru naviku bez koje je neka- da letovanje bilo nezamislivo – pošaljite razglednicu, sa našom jubilarnom poštanskom markom, naravno. July is believed by many to be the most beautiful summer month, and for good reason. The warm- est month in the northern hemisphere, it was named af- ter famous Roman statesman Gaius Julius Caesar. Every month has its own colour, and the colour of the seventh month is coral pink, so we are fully entitled to don our “rose-tinted glasses” and spend July focused on travelling. However, before we surrender ourselves to July’s charms, we would like to remind you that we spent June celebrating the anniversary of our operations through var- ious appropriate activities. Under the slogan “95 years of flying”, we designed a special emblem combining tradition and modernity that pays tribute to the rich history of the Serbian national airline. You will have the opportunity to see this emblem on the bodies of 12 Airbus-type planes and five ATR planes in our fleet. An exhibition entitled “Year of great anniversaries of Serbian aviation: 95 years of the na- tional airline and 60 years of the Belgrade Airport” was also opened and will be available to all passengers at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport from 1 st July. We also worked in co- operation with Post of Serbia to create special commem- orative postage stamps to mark this occasion. As you await your departure, check out the photo ex- hibition documenting all the important periods in the de- velopment of the national airline – from Aeroput, via Yu- goslav Airlines (JAT) to JAT Airways and Air Serbia – and Belgrade Airport. We are certain that these photographs will evoke memories from previous trips among some of you, because those memories are there and need only be awakened. This exhibition might just be an excellent op- portunity to revisit some of those fond memories with us. We have established eight new routes from Belgrade – to Trieste, Lyon, Hanover, Bari, Bologna, Nuremberg, Salzburg and Palma de Mallorca. We have also introduced seasonal Kraljevo-Thessaloniki and Kraljevo-Tivat routes, as well as services from Niš to Tivat and Athens. We’ve provided you with a large selection of destinations for this summer, as we plan to fly to more than 70 scheduled and charter flight destinations. The holiday season is slowly gaining momentum and we want to help you find inspiration for your perfect break. In this issue we will be taking you to Bari and Trieste, which you can visit with our direct flights. For those planning to spend their summer in Serbia, we recommend some of our most beautiful lakes, such as Zlatar, Perućac and Zaovine. Seize the opportunity to restore a good old hab- it that used to be an integral part of every journey abroad and send a postcard, using our commemorative postage stamp, of course.
