U septembru 69,8 odsto više putnika nego lane
September passenger numbers up 69.8 per cent on last year Two million passengers on Air Serbia flights since the start of the year It was in early October that the Serbian national airline carried its two-millionth passenger in 2022 Air Serbia carried more than 300,000 pas- sengers from Belgrade during September this year, which is 69.8 per cent more than in the same mon- th of 2021 and represents the best September result sin- ce 2013, when the airline began operating under its cu- rrent name. More than 3,400 flights operated during this September, including 2,900 regular scheduled flights and almost 500 charter flights. “Even though the holiday season was practically over, the airline industry’s summer season was still on- going in September. As usual, demand for flights during September was somewhat lower than in July and August – both of which were record-setting months in terms of the number of passengers carried – but was still very high for that period of the year. Thanks to the trust placed in us by our passengers, we’ve achieved excellent results du- ring 2022. In September, we carried our 20-millionth pa- ssenger since we started operating under the name of Air Serbia, and now also our two-millionth passenger since the start of 2022. We are heading towards new records, striving to constantly expand our offer with new and even more attractive destinations,” said Boško Rupić, Air Ser- bia General Manager, Commercial and Strategy. The summer season officially closed with the end of October. Air Serbia will cease flights to this year’s seaso- nal destinations in period ahead, but the airline is already adding new ones to its network. As of 31 st October, for example, Air Serbia has provided a direct service to Mal- ta twice a week.
