SPRING SIMMENTAL BULLS
This is a very nice offering. This set of bulls are performance bulls that came off the cows weighing heavy with no creep ever. We preconditioned and them on September 2, then left them on their mothers for 5 weeks, and then they were weaned on October 7th. The ADG on these bulls include the 5 weeks on the cow as well as the feed period, so the ADG is a little less then some you will see, this is good, we don’t push these bulls ever. We tried a new feed program and put 6 lbs. of oats and corn in the ration, along with a pellet to balance the ration. This results in a better, more safe, less hot ration. They were developed on a low 46 mega cal so you will buy bulls that are developed to last, the quality is top shelf and the genetics are designed for you the cow/calf man. THE SPRING BULLS
WE EXPECT MOST OF THESE BULLS TO BE HOMOZYGOUS BLACK AND HOMOZYGOUS POLLED. WE’RE STILL WAITING ON THE TEST RESULTS, BUT ANTICIPATE HAVING THEM BACK AND READY TO SHARE BY SALE DAY.

To rank #1 at his 205 adjusted weight. The cow families that represent them are very productive, his dam is a moderate framed power cow. She always seems to bring in a stout calf. The Align bull is one of the elite herd sires we have ever produced, a very strong bull that had the performance and look we desire. This bull will not over whelm you with his size, but will be one to please the cowman that likes his cattle moderate sized, thick easy fleshing and complete in their make up

BALANCED TRAIT APPROACH It is our belief when breeding cattle the “BALANCED TRAIT APPROACH” is the right one! We want as much performance as we can get while maintaining that “Critical Balance” of calving ease, cowherd and feedlot efficiency and proven carcass value. All the while, never forgetting the unmeasured traits of structural soundness, udder quality, and attachment, mothering ability, vigor at birth, disposition, fertility, and longevity.

We should be retaining him right here to add the gene pool he carries to our program. You can’t blend a better set of genetics together. Value is that bull that consistently sires power in his calves, they are born to perform and still stay easy fleshing with volume. His dam H10 is one of those cows that consistently raises a top end calf. She is a heavy milker and is nice uddered. We really like our Hover Dam females. Going back one more generation to the F16 cow just solidifies the value of this bull’s gene pool. She was one of the top producers we had on the ranch. This bull comes with a lot of stars, in our opinion he will be a cow maker and a high value steer producer. All summer long he was the calf that caught our attention.
