Welcome to our 50 th Annual Bull Sale! First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy and prosperous New Year. It is hard to believe we will be hosting our 50th Golden Anniversary sale this year. We cannot express enough the amount of appreciation and gratitude we owe to each and every one of you our present and past customers. In this sale we will have past over 5,000 head of cattle through the ring. We could have never reached this milestone without you our loyal customers. We are proud of this set of bulls, they came off the cows weighing heavy, for a year that started out bleak, we ended up with good grass and fairly decent hay crops. The year 2025 will go down as one to remember, who would have ever guessed the cattle prices would come to this point. It is about time, everything else has sky rocketed, so thank God cattle prices made the adjustment we all needed and deserved. This year marks a special sale for us, 50 years is a long time to be in the bull business. We hope everyone can come help us celebrate this milestone. We have made some adjustments in how we fed the bulls this year. These bulls were fed for a lower ADG and lower mega cal. We feel that by doing this we are going to offer a more athletic sound set of bulls that should hold up well. No, they are not going to be noticeably different, but were held down to a more modest gain in the low 3’s, not much over 3.75. We went to a zero tolerance on disposition. There won’t be a nervous one in the offering. Seems like since the craze has been all about EPD’s and carcass many have forgot about bull personalities, feet and legs along with pay weight and good mother cows. We have tried to stay abreast but have found some bloodlines are

hard to handle and don’t perform like they should. We feel chasing extremes looks really good on paper, but in the real world some create more problems than good. These cattle are highly efficient cattle that will work very well, will be the cowman’s kind, you will like them. Our motto “THE COWMAN COMES FIRST”, is what you will find just like in the past. Expect a set of bulls that are easy to appreciate and will sire cattle that weigh and pay. The feeders will love them and the packers will pay premiums and the consumer will enjoy a great eating experience. The females you keep should be the best with great dispositions, excellent udders, and have lasting power. Take this as your invitation to attend whether you need a bull or a truck load, they will be here in volume. As always, we will feed you a steak sandwich with the sides to go with.
