James Oliver Bus- well, Jr., as President to succeed its late and beloved president, Charles Albert Blanchard. James Oliver Buswell, Jr., was born in January, 1895, as the son of Rev. James Oliver Buswell, a Presbyterian minister well known in the north cen tral states as a staunch defender of the “ faith once for all delivered to the saints,” particularly for his success ful pastorate at the Stewart Memorial Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, Minn. Having throughout his life held strictly to the “ fundamentals of the faith,” Mr. Buswell’s training has es pecially equipped him for a teaching ministry that will safeguard the faith of students. During the world war he enlisted as chaplain in the 140th Infantry, 35th Division, and served thirteen months in France, his regiment participating in the famous Argonne drive in which he suffered wounds. Many will re member the articles concerning his service in France which appeared in The Sunday School Times in 1918. Following the war Mr. Buswell was pastor of Perseverance Presbyterian Church, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for three years. After some additional work in college he became pastor of Grace Reformed Church, Brooklyn, New York, where he closed his fourth year of service on Sunday, March 28th. Mr. Buswell will be in demand on the Bible Conference platform. He speaks clearly, logically, and with the convictions of his message. While conducting the week of evangelistic services in College Church, Wheaton, at the opening of the second semester this past February, he won many friends by his strength and earnest ness. A Bible Conference will t»e held at Twin Lakes Mission, Santa Cruz, Cal., July 28 to August 8, 1926. The principal speakers will be Dr. I. R. Dean of Los Angeles, and Rev. J. A. Youngberg of San Diego. For programs and other informa tion address Rev. R. C. Fenner, 15 Lee Street, Santa Cruz, Calif. ■Al L, §l§

very prominent, influential and edu cated Jewish people have been inter viewed, which interviews promise to bring' good results. Pray All the workers earnestly request everyone who is interested in the "chosen people” to pray for every phase of the work. But we would not forget to ask everyone to pray for the work in other cities: Portland, Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, Grand Rapids, De troit, Cleveland, Pittsburg, New York, Baltimore, Newark, and in Central Europe, Haifa, and Jerusalem. In or der that one may pray intelligently for the work the department will gladly mail a prayer sheet upon request, weekly. ÈÉ Ü! WINONA LAKE BIBLE SCHOOL OP THEOLOGY Will be held at Winona Lake, In diana, during July and August. Dean W. E. Biederwolf advises that they are making an unusually strong effort this year to make this session the best in its brief but unusually successful his tory. The School was organized but three years ago, but in that time the attend ance has almost doubled. It is de signed especially for ministers, but ethers are admitted to its sessions. A splendid faculty has been ¡selected consisting of such men as Dr. Leander S. Keyser, of Hamma Divinity School, Prof. Melvin Grove Kyle, of Xenia Theological Seminary, and others equally as well known and evangelical. Winona Lake Bible School of Theol ogy stands especially and perhaps is the only school which has for its ex press purpose the emphasizing and de fending of the particular doctrines which are being attacked today by the Modernists, in an effort to stay some what the subtle influences which are insinuating themselves into so many of the schools and pulpits of our land. Further information may be had from Rev. W. E. Biederwolf, Winona Lake, Indiana. .4*4. m DR. ARTHUR H.
