Among the most ameni- ty-rich offerings in the region, The Residences at Bentwood will feature a resort-style spa and pool, club room and fitness center. “We want to congratulate Tornetta and Altman on com- mencing construction on The Residences at Bentwood, which creates an important new housing option in East Norriton,” said township Su- pervisor Chairman Dennis De- Santo. “Our discussions during the approval process revealed the sincere commitment of the developers to the community, and we look forward to wel- coming new residents who can enjoy the East Norriton we all love.” “The Residences at Bentwood creates a new lifestyle option for both legacy residents and new households moving to Montgomery County,” said Jay Tornetta president of Tor- netta Realty, which owns the Bentwood site and is partner- ing on the project with Altman, a leading residential owner, developer and manager in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. “The expansiveness of the commercial marketplace here leaves little land to create sig- nificant residential complexes, but this undeveloped parcel at Bentwood lends itself per- fectly to a luxury apartment building,” said Brett Altman, who, with Bob Bluth , is part- ner in Altman Management, Elon Development and Al- lied Construction Services , each of which has a role in the Residences at Bentwood. “The name Bentwood carries a repu- tation for quality and excellent service that now will be associ- ated with its new residential neighbor.” 
