Person Specification

Essential criteria: • Experience in Estates and Facilities Management at a similar level. • City and Guilds 2365 Part C, City and Guilds 2382-18, ONC, HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3 and/or experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services, or equivalent is required • Management of Health and Safety and statutory compliance experience. • Project Management experience • Highly effective team worker and departmental ambassador with strong communication skills • The ability to accurately manage budgets. • Competent at MS Office, CAFM and BMS packages • An agile approach, with the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances • To be calm under pressure and able to prioritise workload • Demonstratable commitment to sustainability Desirable criteria: • Project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 • Experience of working on heritage estates, including Scheduled Monuments • Membership of relevant professional bodies • Knowledge of structural fabric • Be prepared to be flexible in meeting the demands of the role, as the role may involve some evening and occasional weekend work.
