Award Value
In light of the humanitarian, social, and scientific challenges the world faces, there is a growing need to honor pioneering initiatives, creative ideas, and impactful efforts that contribute to building a better future for humanity. Inspired by the humanitarian, philanthropic, and leadership legacy of the late His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Bin Abdulaziz — may God have mercy on his soul — and his significant contributions to education and human development on both local and global levels, the idea for the “ Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Global Award ” was established. It serves as a prestigious platform to recognize excellence and innovation in serving humanity. During his life, His Royal Highness — may God have mercy on his soul — placed great importance on honoring excellence and innovation, establishing several awards across various fields to support pioneering initiatives and encourage creativity. Today, by restructuring these awards under a unified framework — the “ Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Global Award ” — we not only celebrate excellence but also preserve his humanitarian and intellectual legacy, ensuring the continued impact of his meaningful contributions that have truly made a difference in the lives of individuals and communities. The award aims to spotlight individuals, institutions, and initiatives that have made a tangible difference on both local and international levels, to promote human and developmental values in the face of global challenges, encourage future research and knowledge, and honor outstanding efforts in the fields of innovation and creativity.
