Fire in Colleague Accommodation Fire Prevention
You must read the fire regulations and evacuation procedures that are displayed in your building. Corridors, staircases, and emergency exits must, always, be kept clear of any obstacles that can hinder the escape of any person during an emergency situation. Always ensure that you have always turned off the cooker and iron after use. As a preventive measure, the smoking of shisha, lighting of candles, incense sticks and open flames are strictly prohibited in company accommodation. Only extension leads and plug adaptors meeting British standards may be used. Report any Fire, Life and safety issues to Security or Colleague Services.
