Note: In Departments where there is not a Service Leader, this becomes the responsibility of the Service Manager.

2.2

Service Managers (SM)

2.2.1 Ensure that all their Service Leaders are fully aware of their responsibilities in maintaining discipline and understand all relevant rules and regulations.

2.2.2 Assist in the settlement of grievances that may arise in connection with this Guide including interpretation, enforcement, and implementation.

2.2.3 Implement the approved corrective disciplinary action (as agreed upon by the Disciplinary Committee).

Senior Service Managers (SSM)

2.3.1 Ensure that all Service Managers are fully aware of their responsibilities in maintaining discipline and understand all relevant rules and regulations.

2.3.2 Review and approve corrective actions recommended by Service Managers to ensure objectivity and fairness in consultation with the Disciplinary Committee prior to implementation.

2.3.3 Assist in the settlement of grievances that may arise in connection with this Guide including interpretation, enforcement, and implementation.

2.3.4 Implement the approved corrective disciplinary action (as agreed upon by the Disciplinary Committee).

Service Executives (SE)

2.4.1 Ensure that all their Service Leaders/Service Managers/Senior Service Managers are fully aware of their responsibilities in maintaining discipline and understand all relevant rules and regulations. 2.4.2 Review and approve corrective actions recommended by Service Managers/Senior Service Managers to ensure objectivity and fairness in consultation with the Disciplinary Committee prior to implementation.

2.4.3 Assist in the settlement of grievances that may arise in connection with this Guide including interpretation, enforcement, and implementation.

2.4.4 Implement the approved corrective disciplinary action (as agreed upon by the Disciplinary Committee).
