Rule 7: Employees Conduct Item

Behavior

Employees committing any act, which is deemed as unacceptable moral behavior, bringing ill repute to themselves, their colleagues, and the Hotel. Employees disobeying and not complying to the just and reasonable order of their supervisor made verbally or in writing to the employee. Employees disrespecting other employees, their supervisor, and the Management of the Hotel (this includes the mannerisms, verbal, and non-verbal expressions.) Employees quarrelling, fighting, provoking, urging, promoting, or arousing disunity among the employees of the Hotel or between the employees of the Hotel and third parties. Employees engaged in fund raising without obtaining prior written approval from the Human Resources Department. Employees behaving in a disorderly manner, which disrupts the harmony of the Hotel. Employees’ chewing gum or snacks whilst performing their duty or in front of hotel guests. Employees smoking cigarettes in front of guests whilst performing their duties. Employees smoking in food preparation areas or in any location where smoking is not permitted. Employees participating in gambling activities in the Hotel premises whether for money or otherwise. Employees dealing in or being involved with acts of prostitution on the Hotel premises or Staff Accommodation.
