DigiSus (Digital Sustainability) – the digital solution for supplier management
Building on the focus on digitalisation and the transformation of supplier management esta- blished in the 2024/25 financial year, the Zumtobel Group has further expanded these actions in the 2025/26 financial year. A key basis for this is the internal DigiSus initiative, which was launched in the 2024/25 financial year. DigiSus is designed for the systematic digital collection, visualisation and evaluation of sustainability data along the upstream value chain, as well as to enable the targeted implementation of improvement measures among suppliers. The DigiSus initiative centres on the use of two external platforms: EcoVadis and IntegrityNext. EcoVadis carries out desktop-based sustainability assessments on the basis of information and verifiable evidence provided by participating companies on the topics of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Depending on the size and complexity of the company, the questionnaire may comprise several hundred individual ques- tions. Re-evaluation usually takes place annually or biennially, along with the consideration of external company information and media reports. IntegrityNext operates as a certified self-disclosure platform with a particular focus on abstract risk assessments. Suppliers subject to increased abstract risk – for example, due to country- specific circumstances – are given the opportunity to transparently demonstrate and improve their sustainability performance through self-declarations and supporting evidence. The DigiSus initiative stipulates that suppliers of particular strategic importance (who account for around 80% of the procurement volume) must have an EcoVadis assessment. Suppliers of lesser strategic importance (provided they do not hold EcoVadis certification) use the Integri- tyNext platform. In the reporting year, a DigiSus onboarding rate of 100% was maintained for suppliers of direct materials and merchandise. Over 82% of suppliers in indirect procurement are now registered on at least one of the two sustainability platforms.
