These departments work closely with va- rious stakeholder groups, including custo- mers, suppliers, public authorities, public officials, and/or other business partners. They are also involved in material financial transactions. The geographic location of these departments can lead to different risk profiles, especially in countries exposed to higher risks of corruption and with lower transparency. Compared with the previous year, the defi- nition of at-risk functions has been further clarified. The previously included areas of Communications, Legal, Brands, Marketing, Risk Management, Strategy, Sustainability and Treasury are no longer part of this defi- nition. According to the currently applicable definition, a total of 2,040 employees work in areas that could be exposed to an increased risk of corruption and bribery. The prior-year figure based on the new definition amounts to 2,137 employees (under the previous definition, the figure amounted to 2,245 employees). As a result, the metric now in- cludes fewer employees than in the previous year. The prior-year figure has been adjusted accordingly. 84.9% of the Zumtobel Group’s employees in at-risk functions received training on corruption and bribery. In the previous year, this figure amounted to 87.3% (under the previous definition: 97.6%).
In order to overcome the challenges related to corruption and bribery, internal complian- ce monitoring processes and training ensu- re that the highest standards of integrity and compliance are upheld. In the 2025/26 reporting period, the members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board were trained and briefed on corruption and bribery in connection with the reporting. 90.54% (2024/25: 95.4%) of registered employees received training on corruption and bribery.
