Commitment on the road to becoming the Partner of Choice
Highlights on the road to becoming the Partner of Choice
A sustainable and inclusive transformation of the economy requires close collabora- tion across corporate boundaries. The goal is to reconcile growth, competition, and cli- mate protection with socially just transition. Digital processes and networked thinking are cornerstones of success in this ende- avor. The Zumtobel Group involves busi- ness partners along the entire value chain to jointly find solutions to the challenges ahead. In an environment of new regulatory frameworks, we tap into opportunities for innovation and competitiveness. In our collaboration with suppliers, transpa- rency, respect for human rights, and high social standards are central. An established digital solution (DigiSus) enables efficient supplier management and, together with other elements—such as the Code of Con- duct for Business Partners or the internal whistleblower system —the framework for fulfilling due diligence obligations. Through its People Strategy “We Shine As One,” the Zumtobel Group aims to be the employer of choice for all those who want to develop their potential and drive the future of lighting. To achieve their sustainability goals, cus- tomers are looking for holistic solutions and reliable data at the corporate, solution, and product levels. Through dialogue, the Zumtobel Group is committed to meeting these requirements both substantively and systematically. In this way, the company serves as a partner and offers targeted solutions that meet the needs of customers and end users.
Building on the focus on digitalization and the transformation of supplier manage- ment established in fiscal year 2024/25, the Zumtobel Group further expanded these measures in fiscal year 2025/26. Measures for the company’s own workforce include, among other things, annual perfor- mance and development reviews, programs to promote physical and mental health, and initiatives to strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), including communication efforts on DE&I topics, the “Female Role Models” program, reverse mentoring, and the expansion of DE&I training offerings, including a leadership program. By further developing components, lumi- naires, lighting management systems, and digital solutions, the Zumtobel Group is strengthening its position as an innovation partner for energy-efficient and connected buildings. Collaborations with Siemens, ABB, and Legrand expand the portfolio of solutions for smart space and smart building applicati- ons. Customers receive solutions tailored to a wide range of requirements and levels of complexity—from lighting components to in- telligently networked building and integrated systems that meet regulatory requirements and enhance competitiveness.
