ANGA COM 2025 Conference Programme: More than 60 Panels on Fiber, Content and Connectivity

ANGA COM, Europe’s leading Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Television & Online from 3-5 June 2025 in Cologne, has published its conference programme with the up-to-date key topics of the broadband, TV and streaming industry. This year’s three-day agenda features a particularly high level of participation from CEOs and even more international panels than last year. 28 of the total of over 60 panels with more than 200 speakers will be held in English. The Gigabit Summit, the Media Summit and the Fiber Summit are the highlights of the conference programme which will kick off with a keynote speech by Hendrik Wüst, Premier of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. This will be immediately followed by the Gigabit Summit with the CEOs of leading network operators and the Federal Network Agency on the most important question of the coming months “What needs to change in Germany after the election?”. The first highlight of the media programme is an exclusive interview with Dr. Katrin Vernau, Director General of WDR since 1 January 2025. She will answer the question “Quo Vadis WDR?”. This will be followed by the top-level “Media Summit: Content, Streaming, Transformation”. The second day will begin with the Fiber Summit entitled “How far will we get with FTTH in 2025?”, also attended by leading CEOs from the industry. The strategy programme for the three days of the conference includes the following panels in the area of broadband and fibre optics: n International CEO Panel (in cooperation with Egon Zehnder) n Marketing and Sales: How do we increase the Take-Up Rates for Gigabit Products? n Migration from Copper to Fiber: Key Questions and Concepts for Implementation

n Media Landscape under Pressure: The Market needs new Rules (in cooperation with VAUNET) n Between Vision and Reality: How AI is changing the Media Industry (in cooperation with VAUNET) n Sports Content as a Game Changer for Digital Business Models: Advertising, Sponsoring, Paid Content (in cooperation with Accenture) n Corporate Media vs. Creator Media: Strategies for Success in a Changing Media Landscape (in cooperation with EY Parthenon) The programme section “Technology & Practice” is as international as it is practical. The topics addressed include fibre optics, in-house networks, open access, resilience, HFC networks, quality of service, civil engineering, connectivity, streaming, video discovery, ad insertion, CDN, IP video, monitoring, monetisation, data protection, artificial intelligence and sustainability. We are especially looking forward to the panel “Sustainability: Implementation Scheme for Telecommunication” that will take place in cooperation with the SCTE® (Society for Broadband Professionals) on Wednesday, 4 June 2025, 13:00-14:00 CET. Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “This year, we want to address the up- to-date key topics of the broadband and media industry in a particularly targeted manner. In the area of fiber optics, these include the expansion of in-house networks, the migration from copper to fiber and the increase in take-up rates.
