Glutes are suggested to be a single group done alone, for the specific reason that you can ensure you are articulate with the administration of the application. One very important rule is to stay at least 6 inches away from the center on each side, no matter what. You may apply along the outside "butterfly wing" (shredded glutes look like a butterfly outline, hence my nickname for them). Also, don't go lower than 3/4 of the distance from the top of the muscle. Gravity will do its job, and there is no need to intentionally target the lower portion. Yes, you can do hamstrings in place of glutes, but we suggest waiting until your glute protocol is done and doing maintenance on glutes during the hamstring protocol. Glutes
