Dear Levine Academy Parents,
On behalf of the Levine Academy Parent Association (PA), we would like to welcome all our new and returning families to another exciting and successful year for our school!
Your support is crucial to fulfilling the PA’s mission and goals. We invite all of our parents to become active members of our PA, and encourage you to volunteer for some of the opportunities we have available through the year. Personal involvement can be very rewarding, and whether you have only one hour or many hours to give, every minute counts toward making a positive difference for your child and our school community. Please mark your calendars to attend our Back to School Welcome Breakfasts on Monday, August 17. The Lower/Middle School Welcome Breakfast is after drop-off on the Middle School side of the building. The EC Welcome Breakfast is after EC drop-off in EC Central. Please stop by to meet new families and see old friends. Also, we hope to see you at our Opening Meeting on Wednesday, September 2 at 11:30 AM. Important information relating to the school year will be shared and it is your chance to share your thoughts and ideas on PA programming. Fundraising is essential to the enrichment of our children’s school experience. The money we earn through Parent Association fundraisers like our Bazaar, Book Fair and Spirit Wear sales allows us to sponsor such activities as the Purim Carnival, Teacher Appreciation Week, Summer Send-Off and other acts of community building. It also helps us to purchase enhancements and “wish-list” items that better the school experience for our children and faculty. We look forward to your support of this year’s efforts through your participation and volunteerism. Please take a few minutes now to review the materials included--feel free to call either one of us or any of the wonderful parents who serve as members of the Executive Committee should you have any questions or ideas regarding any of our current school functions and events.
