The Scriptural definition of faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the proving of things not seen (Heb. 11:1, B. V.). Faith in God is taking God at His word, believing what God says, trusting God, relying upon God. Faith in God is based upon faith in His Word. All we know about God is the revelation of Himself through His Word. We know something of God's laws without His Word, but nothing of Himself. Essentials for Faith. carefully at these Scriptures (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:19-21; .1 Thess. 2:13), and pin your faith to God's Word. Never permit anybody anywhere to un- settle your confidence in the infallibil- ity of God's Holy Word. It has stood the strain of centuries and all who seek to make light of it or little of it are the enemies of God, no matter who they are. • Belief in the full inspiration of the Bible is an absolute necessity to a sat- isfying faith. God's Word is estab- lished forever (Psa. 119:89). Look

He deals to every man the measure (Bom. 12:3). He gives faith by the Spirit (1 COT. 12:4-8-9; 2 Cor. 2:4-5). Through the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing (Bom. 10:17; Acts 4:4). We need to study the Word of God in order that our faith may be en- larged (2 Tim. 3:15; Jas. 1:21; Jno. 20:31). The Author and Finisher of Faith is Jesus (Heb. 12:2). Help Thou mine unbelief (Mark 9: 24). Lord increase our faith (Luko 17:5), I have prayed for thee (Luke 22:32). In living (Bom. 1:17); in standing (2 Cor. 1:24). N In walking (2 Cor. 5:7); in fighting (1 Tim. 6:12). S In overcoming (1 Jno. 5:4); in trust- ing for all need (Phil. 4:19). We are saved by faith (Eph. 2:8); justified (Bom. 3:28); sanctified (Acts £6:18); purified (Acts 15:9).' Have access to God (Bom. 5:2). Be- eeive the end of our faith (1 Pet. 1:9). Without faith we cannot please God (Heb. 11:6). Mr. Haney reports increased interest in the work in Mojave; the meetings have grown in numbers and the Sunday school nearly doubled. Messrs.
