INVENTORY MANAGEMENT The goal of successful Inventory Management is to have the right product, in the right quantity, at the right price and at the time your customer needs it. The entire litany of processes and procedures required to achieve this goal are fully documented in the Ace Way of Retailing operations under Inventory Management. • Forecasting and Replenishment – Use your Eagle for Windows system to bring inventory levels in line with anticipated demand and automatically generate accurate orders. • Receiving and Put-Away – Reduce the amount of task time associated with weekly RSC deliveries. • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy – Increase accuracy and efficiencies following systematic processes. • Preserve In-Stock Position – Use weekly reports and associated procedures to determine which products to retain based on customer demand. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT The goal of Financial Management is to assist Ace retailers in optimizing their bottom-line profitability to strengthen the business and foster successful growth. The Ace Way of Retailing best practices help the owner and back office team ensure proper financial controls exist to safeguard the store assets. Inventory management reconciliation, statement processing, and budgeting and cash flow tools form the solid foundation of the store model to support continued success.
