LOUISIANA STATE MEDICAL SOCIETY DISCLAIMER
The American Medical Society’s (AMA) House of Delegates met this week, and while Louisiana does send a delegation to the meeting, via the LSMS, it is important for Louisiana physicians to know that the LSMS and the AMA are separate and distinct organizations. As such, the policies, opinions, and views expressed by the AMA, the AMA House of Delegates, and AMA officers are theirs and theirs alone. The LSMS has its own policies that are crafted in-state, by Louisiana physicians, through our House of Delegates and can be viewed at any time on the LSMS Website at https://lsms.org/page/LSMSPolicy.
