CONNECTIONS by Paige Elise
CONNECTIONS by Paige Elise Buried beneath the layers of our personalities, baked within the mixture of flavors that make us who we are, beyond the maze of thoughts that dig deep roots in our minds, we all long for connection. We were created for real connection, for raw relationships that take what is intrinsically flawed and messy and create beautiful masterpieces. These are the relationships that bring out the belly laughs, the deep conversations, and, at times, even the tears.

We were created for real connection, for raw relationships that take what is intrinsically flawed and messy and create beautiful masterpieces. These are the relationships that bring out the belly laughs, the deep conversations, and at times, even the tears. What else can accomplish such a connection between us besides the Gospel? Jesus lived life with people while He was on earth. He met them in their brokenness and saved the from their sins for the purpose of furthering His kingdom. This is our calling, too. We are the salt and light of this world, spreading the good taste and the warm radiance of the good news through the relationships we form. The Gospel is what moves us forward from who we were into the people God created us to be. We are all in this sanctification process together, and as we link arms with one another for the cause of Christ, focusing on the Gospel, that connection will only strengthen. Let’s fix our eyes forward! What else can accomplish such a connection between us besides the Gospel? Jesus lived life with people while He was on earth.
