Deadwood’s famous gunslinger, Wild Bill Hickok , will be celebrated and the center of attention at Wild Bill Days . Free concerts will take place all weekend alongside the unique vendor market. The ways of the Old West will be depicted in demonstrations and reenactments, and watch or join in the classic car auction.

Join Sioux Falls Pride for a day of “community, visibility, and joy,” starting with a parade in downtown Sioux Falls. The Pride Festival follows at Yankton Trail Park at noon with food, entertainers, and more. Festival performers and vendors are to be announced on their Facebook, Sioux Falls Pride.

50th Annual Arts in the Park
Melgaard Park • Aberdeen • 10 a.m. For 50 years, Arts in the Park has featured exhibitors and their creations from all over the country. Folk and fine art, food, and entertainment will be featured at the juried event. Over the years since the event started in 1976, it’s estimated that over 200,000 people have attended.

Oahe Days Music & Arts Festival Steamboat Park • Pierre • All Day
The Oahe Days Music & Arts Festival will be packed with concerts, carnival rides, and so much more, including a beer chugging contest. From food trucks, to crafts, local businesses and art vendors, the festival will be full of activity. Keep an eye out for balloon art, magic, face painting, and stilt walking from Poppin’ Penelope .
