Official Partner for the 2019 Library Design Awards

This year’s National Library Design Awards were held in Brisbane. The calibre of nominations was high – with libraries represented all over Australia. We’re pleased to announce that 3 of the 4 main winners featured Raeco shelving and/or furniture. Congratulations to everyone who attended and of course to the deserving winners.

AUSTRALIAN Library Design Awards WINNERS Centenary Library, Caulfield Library & Bunjil Place Library both won major design awards. These amazing libraries feature Raeco shelving, seating, signage and tables while incorporating our experience and know how.

With growing patronage and pending renovations, library administration required a new solution for book shelving. It needed to be functional, flexible and include book display. The new library now features Raeco shelving, with the centrepiece being an eye catching colosseum seating/display unit. Patrons are always using its in-built seating and administrators love its book display capacity and display options.

During installation, library management found their Raeco Area Manager, Lisa Sharp “wonderful to deal with” and appreciated the fresh ideas presented while helping the library to achieve its vision.
