First up is Miss V8 404/7, a DIRECT DAUGHTER of +Miss V8 410/6, one of the most famous cows in the history of V8 Ranch, known for her cover photo for the Brahman Journal that is considered to be one of the most ideal Brahman cows you can make. +410/6 has made a lasting impact on the Brahman world with 63 registered offspring including numerous show winners, donors, and AI sires. 404/7's sire is none other than +Mr. V8 901/4, a past International Champion who is known for siring consistently good cattle that are easy fleshing, eye appealing, structurally correct, and mate well with various sire lines. Phenotypically, 404/7 resembles her mother greatly in the look from the profile and the size and stature that she has. You may be asking, why is she selling? Well, we've frozen a good bank of embryos on her and we've been blessed to have produced some tremendous females over the last 5 years that we've kept breeding interests in and the donor pen has become crowded. The second, and final, PROVEN donor in the offering is Miss V8 490/7, a result of crossing 2 of the most notable Brahman breeding pieces of all time, (+)JDH Karu Manso 800, an International Champion, and +Miss V8 464/6, a World Brahman Congress and International Champion. As expected from her pedigree, Miss V8 490/7 is stout made, robust in her skeleton, and packs it all into an attractive package. Miss V8 490/7 has proven herself as an elite producer by raising a Reserve Grand Champion at the South Texas State Fair, a Brahmans at the Camellia sale feature, and several females that we've retained to use in our breeding program in the future. Not only does she produce phenotypically superior show type cattle, if you're a performance or carcass trait oriented breeder, take a look at her EPDs - 490/7 ranks in the top 5% of the breed for 10 of the 17 recorded EPDs and indexes.
