What I enjoy the most about my job is seeing students who I tenaciously recruited to enroll in our school come and fall in love with what the Lord is doing in their heart here, and then seeing them go and passionately tell others about how the Lord is moving here on campus all because of His Word. It’s contagious. The best part of working for Word of Life is being able to disciple students and help them see the truth of God’s Word in regards to what trials they are walking through. A shout out to Nathan Gordon, Galen Esper, and Matt Borden! When I was a freshman in college at a university in Ohio pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy, the Lord laid on my heart that I desperately wanted to know His Word more. A friend who I graduated from high school with was a student at Word of Life Florida at the time and shared with me about this school and all the amazing things they were learning about the Lord. That was the first time I had ever heard of Word of Life. Later, my parents and I flew to Florida to check out campus, and we all knew this was exactly where the Lord wanted me. I’ve been here ever since! If the students only remembered one thing from me, I would want them to know that I was never too busy for anyone, and that the person the Lord placed in my path is the person to whom I am to show His love. I would also want them to know that I love them ALL so much!
