B efore the BI, I didn’t really know what it was like to surrender my entire life to Christ and live in obedience. I had gone to a Reverb event where Word of life offered a free shirt to everyone who filled out an application to the BI. I didn’t even know what the Bible Institute was, but when I got home from the event I did some research on the school. My admissions counselor called me all the time. I decided to attend campus days in May and I fell in love with the atmosphere. I loved the fact that everyone loves Jesus and I could tell it in everyone I met there. My final decision to come to Word of Life wasn’t until 3 days before registration. My experience at the BI has been unforgettable. I was able to build a stronger relationship with Christ, and during the missions conference, I decided to serve God wholeheartedly. I have gained lifelong friendships and I wouldn’t trade this year for anything! My plan after this year is to continue on to second year and, Lord willing, eventually be a part of the CCI program. Long term, I want to get my nursing degree and become a medical missionary.
