ESCAPE THE ISLAND
This year’s theme for Escape the Island was “Asylum” and was a chilling experience for guests and students alike. The property of Rock Haven, meant to be turned into an amusement park providing an “authentic asylum experience,” welcomed guests who posed as potential investors in the park’s success. Little did they know that not only had authorities failed to transport all patients off the island, but their tour guide was the murderous Les LeHaye disguised as security guard Jordan Sanchez. Guests were led over treacherous trails, through creepy cabins, and down a perilous path before being locked in an escape room by LeHaye who revealed his true, sinister identity. Each group of visitors had little time to solve a puzzle, find the real Officer Sanchez, and be led to safety at the Boathouse where they finished their tour with treats and a Gospel presentation. Just under 400 groups had great, seasonal fun, and it was a hit for all who went!
