We are working together as the Lighthouse Mission Team to continue contact with Pastor Mike and see how we can be serving and helping meet needs that they have in Long Island. Answering so many prayer requests of opportunities to reconnect with people and use this time at home efficiently and effectively.
Paige Carver
Although it was sad not to be able to go on the OAE trip to NYC, I was honestly convicted about how I was not aware of the work that God could do in my own home town. I have been able to see God work through conversations with my unsaved friends and family, prayers behind the scenes, and even the love that can come from a heartfelt letter. He has used this time at home to show us all that we can do amazing ministry opportunities right in our backyards. I am thankful for this opportunity at home!
Kailyn Stankovich
A family in my neighborhood asked me to help homeschool their child, they are both in the medical field so no one could be at home with their child to teach her, so I saw God provide a really cool ministry of helping them. Her parents are not saved, so there are a lot of opportunities for me to have Gospel conversations. It was so cool that I got the opportunity to be a light of the Gospel in these people’s lives and also love in their daughter.
Breanna Morrow
I have had the opportunity to start doing Bible study with one of my camp crew girls from last summer. We call on Thursday and are working to cultivate building time with the Lord and what that can look like. We are going to go through the book of John.
Allison Reda
I work at a grocery store and I am able to share the gospel with people who come through my register.
