Over nearly every weekend of November, Word of Life was privileged to host Reverbs from Ohio to Maine. Ministry teams drove to their venues, carrying the Good News with them and remembering this year’s evangelistic goal: to reach 100k people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the students poured into the arenas, Word of Life student counselors met with youth leaders, preparing to counsel the teens who made decisions to follow Christ after the game. After the sporting events were over, our speakers bravely stood in front of thousands, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the Gospel. The most encouraging part of each Reverb was seeing hundreds of hands go up, each one a profession of trust in Christ. All of the applause for those souls brought to mind Luke 15:10: “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
