The new forms can be filled out electronically and will clarify for applicants what is required to lodge a complete application, streamlining the application process and reducing the need for follow up. The updated forms can be found: https://bit.ly/3sZQ4Z3 Suggestions for assisting assessment of liquor licence applications Consider if there is a need for approvals from other relevant bodies before applying. This might include council advice that the proposed business activity can be undertaken at that location within the intended hours; evidence of your right to occupy the premises, such as a lease or title; or, if you are producing liquor, a relevant manufacturer’s licence. Information that can delay an application if missed out includes: • A detailed submission about the proposed business addressing the activities to be undertaken and why the application is in best interest of the community; •100 points of ID that has been certified as a true copy by a Commissioner for Declarations or Justice of the Peace; and •Details of any associates.
