Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a lived commitment. As one of Europe’s leading porcelain manufacturers, we take responsibility for people, resources, and the future of our industry. We think of table culture in circular terms: durable, resource- efficient, and economically sound. This responsibility starts within our own company: With a strong Occupational Health Management program, constructive collaboration with the works council, and clear standards in occupational safety and health protection, we create an environment in which safety, well-being, and appreciation are firmly embedded in everyday work. Our partners in gastronomy and hospitality rely on quality that visibly reflects responsibility—measura- ble, transparent, and honest. Our sites are certified according to ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management). With the EcoVadis Silver Medal, we rank among the top 7% of assessed companies in our industry. These standards make our actions transparent and verifiable. Porcelain is naturally durable—and that is our claim. We develop products that remain in use for decades, minimize breakage and replacement, and conser- ve resources. Durability is the most honest form of sustainability—for gastronomy, hospitality, and the environment. Our responsibility does not end at the factory gate. With our Code of Conduct, a Supplier Code of Conduct, and a reporting system for environmental and human rights risks, we anchor sustainability throughout the entire supply chain. We account for emissions according to the GHG Protocol and are developing a roadmap to achieve carbon neutrali- ty by 2045.

Resource-efficient production – We invest continu- ously in efficiency and circular processes:
600 kWp Photovoltaikanlage: rund 10 % Eigenstrom am Standort Schönwald Abwärmenutzung in Weiden: Trocknung der Becherfertigung mit Ofenabwärme – rund 1 Mio. kWh Erd- gas/Jahr eingespart (≈ 80 % weniger Gas in diesem Schritt) 75 % der Produktionsabfälle werden intern oder über externe Partner recycelt Reduktion des Frischwasserbedarfs: Jährlich werden rund 39.000 m³ Wasser aufbereitet und im Kreislauf gehalten
