In recent weeks, one major story has taken the spotlight and hogged the headlines: Hurricane Irma. The category five storm was the strongest the Atlantic had seen in a decade, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Thousands have been left homeless, millions have been left without power and there are billions worth of damages. Now that the dust (and wind) has settled, rebuilding and the response needed to do so is at the heart of every conversation. Despite the destructive hurricane being thousands of miles away, Britain has responded at lightning speed and pledged £32 million towards recovery efforts. Hurrying to be by the side of those facing a crisis. Here at Pirtek, we have a reputation for being not unlike Britain’s recovery efforts. Like the recovery efforts we waste no time getting to our customers in their hour of need, like the recovery efforts we make sure to provided nothing less than exactly what is needed to fix an issue and, thanks to the many Pirtek centres, like the recovery efforts geography rarely presents an issue. As we are the first to react when called, we make sure to never fall short of an effective and timely response. That is why each of our centres carry a full range of hoses and fittings and why each of these centres acts as a foundation for mobile workshops manned by highly skilled technicians. Technicians able to resolve the problem in any location. As all this would not be sufficient without an up-to-the-minute response time, we are proud to say that we also manage all this with an expected ETA of within an hour of the customer’s call. While we know our dedication towards a smooth recovery cannot directly help the brave people who have faced hurricane Irma, we like to think it can make a real difference for our customers facing a business halting failure.
