That will be good news for the customers served by the Cumbrian Branch that include BAE at Barrow and the Sellafield nuclear power plant. “In many ways, the change in ownership launches a “Thanks to our experience and success at Pirtek Preston, we know the recipe for running a successful Pirtek centre,” concludes John Osborne. “Our task now is to emulate that success at Pirtek Cumbria.”
Pirtek Cumbria (formerly Pirtek Penrith) is under new management. However, while that management might be new to customers served by the dedicated hose centre based at Penrith Industrial Estate, the change in ownership marks a continuation of a partnership that has already proven itself at nearby Pirtek Preston. The new owners are Mark Barnes, Licensee at Pirtek Preston, and his Sales Manager John Osborne. “Pirtek Penrith will benefit from Mark’s commercial expertise, while I will be bringing my sales experience and focus,” Osborne says. According to John Osborne, the change in ownership marks a return to what he describes as “the old fashioned Pirtek way”. “In the long term, I would like to see additional
