Yes, They have Flowers! Although they are thought of as a foliage plant, Mangave will flower. These plants are slow to bloom, but when they do the stalks can be impressive. Acheiving flowers requires long days with high light levels, and even then the temperature must be just right. On the more modest of varieties, the height of the flowers can reach 3-5'. On the larger varieties, they can surpass 10' tall. Pollinators will visit these plants as well. Watch for bees to stop by, and even a hummingbird or two!
