AGE

Joining Padworth College in Year 9 will help to expand a student’s educational experience in preparation for formal I/GCSE studies. Year 9 students make their I/GCSE subject choices in the Spring Term, supported with subject information and details of course options .

International students joining Padworth for Year 9 are required to have Level A2 English.

2 YEAR A LEVEL COURSE YEARS 12 – 13 Up to 4 subjects; September start 18 MONTH, 5 TERM A LEVEL COURSE YEARS 12 – 13 Up to 3 subjects; January start

2 Year I/GCSE Course – Years 10 and 11 Formal, external I/GCSE examinations take place at the end of the two-year study period. The curriculum consists of compulsory and optional subjects and up to 10 different subjects can be chosen. International students joining Year 10 are required to have Level B1 English and EAL lessons are built into a student’s timetable (included in fees).
