LES HAWKS PERDENT DEUX FOIS CONTRE LES BRAVES

Brown. Matt Gasuik a marqué un deuxième but pour les Hawks à la fin de la troisième, mais le match était déjà perdu. Brockville a remporté la victoire 7-2 à domicile. Le soir suivant, les deux équipes se sont affrontées de nouveau, cette fois au Com- plexe sportif Robert Hartley à Hawkesbury. Les Hawks avaient l’air plus motivés durant la première période, prenant l’avance 1-0 avec un but de David Hill à 8:33. Cependant, Sam Allison de Brockville a répliqué avec deux buts consécutifs en deuxième période, l’équipe des Braves prenant l’avance 2-1. Joshua Spratt des Braves a eu le dernier mot avec son but à la fin de la troisième période, solidifiant cette deuxième victoire pour les Braves. Les Hawks se trouvent maintenant en deuxième place de leur divi- sion avec 40 points. Les Nats ont volé la première place avec 41 points. Les Hawks de Hawkesbury ont joué et perdu deux matchs consécutifs contre les Braves de Brockville au cours de la fin de semaine. Goal assists came from Labrosse, Nikolas Ayotte, Jonathan Lacroix, François Larose, and Joey Simoneau. Frederick Durocher guarded the Vankleek Hill net. Denis Gratton and Simon Hupé popped in goals for Gatineau with assists from Anthony Bélanger, Jérémie Cardinal, Mathieu Des Ruisseaux, and Maxime Tremblay. Marc- Olivier Bastien was in the net. The Cougars start December by hosting the Metcalfe Jets Saturday night at the Vankleek Hill Arena. Saint-Isidore The last weekend of November was not a good one for Saint-Isidore in the National Capital Junior Hockey League. The home team was shut out 5-0 Sunday afternoon by the Clarence Creek Castors. Clarence Creek goals included two by Zack Lugli, with singles from Samuel Gaudet, Kyle Goodman, and Patrick Lemay. Assisting on the scoring were Aiden Cannell, Matthew Clifford, Thomas Lowry, Nathan Melée, and Caleb Smith. Corey Camirand guarded the Clarence Creek net. Tyler Desjardins and Braden Penberthy shared netminding duty for Saint-Isidore. The South Grenville Rangers come to play in Saint-Isidore, Sunday night, December 2. Clarence Creek The last weekend of November saw the Clarence Creek Castors lose their road game against the Bytown Royals 6-4 but shut out the Saint-Isidore Aigles 5-0 in their Sunday afternoon home game.
