From its wide barrier was then shifted behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly through the middle stages. RAND01/04/2023 Began awkwardly, shifted in and made contact. in the early stages. Rdr std in accordance with instructions he settled at the rear of the field from the wide barrier. He added the colt found it difficult to make up ground, despite being hard ridden from near the 500m. A post-race vet exam revealed the colt to be lame (1/5) in the off-foreleg. Stable advised a warning would be placed on the colt. M V 09/09/2023 Bumped at start. Post race vet exam revealed laceration to near fore cannon. Vet cert req. M V 26/08/2023 Began awkwardly. R- from favourable draw had been his intention to settle more prominently, howver after being bumped at the start, raced keenly in the early stages & with the addition of blinkers, led the field. FLEM 05/08/2023 The colt, which was observed to have blood present in its mouth, underwent a vet exam behind the barriers and was deemed suitable to race. From a wide barrier was shifted behind runners in early stages. Raced keenly in middle stages, however was held up rounding home turn. The colt shifted in near 300m and was disappointed for a run to the inside, then remained held up until being shifted to the outside to secure clear running approaching 200m. W FM30/08/2023 COT: Intention to be ridden further forward; settled outside lead. Began awkwardly. RHIL 26/08/2023 Rdr said intention to ride horse with cover but is of opinion horse may appreciate being ridden more prominently. CAUL 02/09/2023
