Teachers and their role in education
The importance of the teachers in education is like a pillar in the development and betterment of any society. This basic knowledge is passed from one child to another and the home, society and country move towards peace and development. Islam has declared the profession of teacher to have like prophet qualities. The teacher is the one who provides guidance and knowledge in the journey of consciousness. “The best thing that a man can leave behind is knowledge which is acted upon after his death.” Our beloved prophet (peace be upon him) said: So, as teachers we should teach our students that the purpose of education is to light every lamp with the light of their knowledge which they do not have the resources for education like you. This is the process by which ignorance of the world’s darkness can turn into the light of civilization. WISHING YOU A VERY HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION TO ALL!
