URBAN DEVELOPMENT A strong track record in light rail and metro With our holistic approach to urban rail from start to finish, we’re trusted to lead significant projects to enhance passenger experiences and connect communities.

Urban rail maintenance We undertake significant maintenance, refurbishment and repair work across the UK’s light rail and metro infrastructure. This is made possible by our deep expertise and experience of working with clients and key stakeholders such as Local Authorities to effectively deliver works in challenging urban environments, ensuring the minimum disruption to passengers, local businesses and the general public. Recent success includes a comprehensive project to repair trackside polymer and concrete across the 29km Sheffield Metro Network.

We believe that Early Contractor Involvement is vital in anticipating the true value of a light rail or metro scheme, anticipating the impact of design on cost, delivery, and the community. Leveraging experience from projects around the world, we design schemes with an emphasis on the outcomes you need to achieve and the most efficient way to deliver them. Urban rail construction From project management to managing the supply chain and contractors, we play a pivotal role in bringing light rail and metro schemes to life across the UK. We’re currently delivering all aspects of the largest light rail programme in the UK, bringing unique parts together to not only keep the project on budget and on schedule, but maximise value every step of the way.
