WELDING (CIP CODE 48.0508) CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
The mission of the Welding Program is to prepare students for employment as welders. The program mission supports the College Mission by providing academic and technical instruction and workforce development. General Education Courses (13 credit hours) Term Grade Hours Students may wish to pursue an associate degree or higher at a later time and should note that ORI 101 and SPH 106 are associate degree eligible transfer courses while ORT 111 and SPC 103 are not. General education courses marked with an asterisk are transferrable. Students scoring into higher level mathematics or English classes on placement exams may substitute the higher level classes for MAH101 and COM100 which are not transfer courses. Choose one:
