Lydia Ann Marie Brown is an enthusiastic and community - minded scholar shaped by Spelman ’ s guiding motto, “ Our Whole School for Christ, ” and its powerful call to action, “ Undaunted By The Fight. ” Lydia is daughter of Link member Robin McIver - Brown, Ed.D and Connecting Link Jimmie Brown. These values have defined her journey instilling a spirit of perseverance, resilience, and a deep commitment to social justice. Over the past four years, Lydia has grown into a globally aware leader with a passion for cross - cultural exchange and international education. She has studied abroad in Japan and aspires to work at the intersection of global policy, law, and U.S./Japan relations.
Lydia ’ s first post - graduate destination will be teaching English in Japan and/or pursuing the University of Southern California ’ s Master of International Public Policy and Management program to prepare for a career in international law, education, and public policy. Lydia graduates from Spellman (College Magna Cum Laude and Departmental Honors) with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Minor in Japanese Studies (with a concentration in Asian Studies ).
Krystle Ariane Liburd, is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from West Coast University in Ontario, CA. Krystle is the daughter of Link member Kimberly Liburd and Connecting Link Kenrick Liburd. She is a dedicated and compassionate nursing graduate with a passion for helping others feel their best—both inside and out. She began her career as an esthetician, where she honed her skills in skincare and wellness, providing clients with expert care and confidence - boosting treatments. Driven by her deep commitment to patient care and a desire to make a greater impact in the medical field, Krystle pursued her BSN. Now after graduating with her RN BSN degree, she is ready to embark on the next
chapter of her career as a registered nurse.
Throughout her academic journey, Krystle has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for the nursing profession. Her hands - on experience in clinical settings has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the healthcare field. Congratulations to our Heir - O - Links!
