Greetings From the Chapter President!

Dear Guests,

Welcome to the San Bernardino Valley Chapter ’ s 47th Annual Scholarship Breakfast Ball program. It is both an honor and a joy to have you with us as we gather to celebrate the academic excellence of our scholars and the extraordinary service of community leaders who uplift and inspire. For nearly five decades, our chapter has proudly awarded more than $850,000 in scholarships to 370 students across the Inland Empire. These achievements are made possible by the generosity of our supporters, and we are deeply grateful. Among our longstanding donors are Dr. Herb Fischer, retired San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, and his wife, Dr. Cheryl Fischer, whose $100,000 endowment funds four annual Links Scholarships. We also recognize our Connecting Links, the Riverside Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, our own chapter members, and many community organizations and residents who contribute generously year after year. This past year, we have focused on expanding our reach across the Inland Empire, forging new connections within surrounding counties and continuing to build on our enduring partnership with Dignity Health – Community Hospital of San Bernardino. Through these collaborations, our members contribute thousands of service hours annually, directly impacting the lives of those we serve. Each year, we also take great pride in honoring individuals whose work reflects our mission. This year, we are pleased to recognize Dr. Corey A. Jackson, California State Assemblymember representing the 60th District. Dr. Jackson ’ s steadfast dedication to education, equity, and public service has empowered communities and inspired countless individuals. Dr. Jackson ’ s leadership embodies the very spirit of transformation and purpose we celebrate today. I extend heartfelt thanks to the Breakfast Ball Committee and the Scholarship Committee for their outstanding efforts in organizing this meaningful event. It is a privilege to lead the San Bernardino Valley Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, as we continue our mission of Transforming Communities and Fulfilling Our Purpose.

Warm regards,

Michelle Webley Michelle Webley, President San Bernardino Valley Chapter The Links, Incorporated
