Acquisition of Electrozemper by FWThorpe
The BDO M&A team in Spain advised the UK based listed lighting manufacturer FWThorpe, in the acquisition of Spanish based emergency lighting manufacturer Electrozemper. The transaction included the acquisition of a majority shareholding in the company with an implied enterprise value of EUR34 million. Electrozemper is one of the segment leaders in Iberia with reported LTM EBITDA of EUR4 million as of June 2021. BDO advised FWThorpe in M&A, financial due diligence and tax due diligence.
