Those with inquiries As Kate continues, “This event is about women empowering women. The biggest power is in asking questions, and how you build your community is in how you build your support. We like to encourage participants to sit with folks that they don’t know, creating opportunities to connect.” With St. Thomas being Kate’s home, she aims to share the benefit of living in this community and nourishing the growing city: “We have such a great sense of community. This conference strives to inspire various leaders, both in and outside of the home – you do not have to be a boss to be a leader. This confidence can be cultivated in your daily life.” Over these several years, Helen has received such rewarding feedback. One instance pertains to a woman who had felt compelled to attend one of these conferences, during which she reunited with prior connections.
