Take next year's mother crop, mother clone crop, late July, early August when the sun's really beating down on them. They're back to seven leaf fully veg and that's been keep- ing her going. NATHAN: That's so awesome for that to be going for 30 years. So when they actually get DJ Short Blueberry, it is DJ Short Blue- berry. DJ: When it's coming from me. As a matter of fact, I got some [holding up a small jar]. Well, this was last year's, I don't know what I got here. It's not fancy. It doesn't jump out at you. But here's the thing. When you smoke it and it's consistent, there's the five factors . Onset – how long does it take to feel the effect? Duration. How long does the effect last? Ceiling, which is the more I smoke, the higher I get. And then this fourth one I think is the most important. NATHAN: I love those chill strains because I can sit and smoke a whole joint, can chat, can be a normal human being. I wouldn't
just sit there and drink a glass of Everclear. DJ: And here's the funny thing. I called out a lot of that stuff from my work, the super potent stuff. I let it go as Blue Moonshine. I had a few super potent things that passed through my hands, but generally when I was doing selection work, and it was too para- noid, it's like doing crank or something.
